Meet Dani Carter

Hi, I am Dani, the founder and creator of Happily Ever After Cancer. I am a Uterine Cancer survivor who is just a month away from being two years in remission. I am the wife of John and daughter of Brian and Edith. I am a follower of Jesus and a lover of Him, the Father, and the Spirit.

My life may seem really interesting to some, and ridiculously boring to others. I spend a lot of time writing and creating. My cancer led to a hysterectomy and took away the traditional method by which I thought I would start a family one day. I carry this grief daily, and some days, it feels heavier than others.

I work with hundreds of children doing nonprofit work. My hope is that in this space, and through this work, what I create can be just as impactful. I’ve come to believe that with the right people in your corner, love in your heart, and a willingness to let others walk alongside you—there is indeed a happily ever after cancer for both you and me.
